Patterson Man Arrested After Allegedly Waving BB Gun at a Vehicle on the Roadway

Berwick Police arrested a 21-year-old Patterson man Wednesday after he allegedly waved a BB gun at a vehicle while traveling on Highway 90 eastbound in Berwick. The Berwick Police Department said they received the complaint at 4:08 in the afternoon about the incident. The complainant followed the vehicle to a local business in Berwick where he gave a description to police while stating the gun he observed appeared to have been a Glock.
Upon officer’s arrival at the business, they contacted  the driver and passenger of the vehicle that was described. The driver of the vehicle admitted to officers that his passenger, who was identified as 21-year-old Rhy’keelon Talver of Patterson, did in fact pull out a BB gun and waved it at another vehicle because they were cut off by that vehicle. Officers recovered a black handgun identified as a BB gun in the vehicle. After gathering information from the victim and suspect, Rhy’keelon was placed under arrest for Aggravated Assault With A Firearm.
While police were investigating the incident, they said 19-year-old Reginald Talver, of Patterson, arrived at the scene and began causing a disturbance with officers. Officers stated they asked Talver several times to leave the area. Reginald Tayler refused, and was placed under arrest for Disturbing the Peace.  Rhy’keelon Talver was booked into the Berwick Jail and later posted bond of $2,500.00 and was released. Reginald Talver was booked and posted bond of $176.00 and was released.
