New Iberia Police Seeking Suspects Involved In Shooting

On 06/16/2020 at approximately 11:02 pm the new Iberia Police Department received a call reference to a shooting which occurred in the 900 block of Mississippi St.

One person was injured in the shooting and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The New Iberia Police Department is seeking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Bryson Johnson and Brenton Morton. Both subjects are wanted by the New Iberia Police Department.

Brenton Morton is wanted on two counts of attempted 1st Degree Murder, Illegal Discharge of a Firearm/Weapon, Aggravated Criminal Damage and Felon in possession of a Firearm.

Bryson Johnson is also wanted on two counts of attempted 1st Degree Murder, Illegal Discharge of a Firearm/Weapon, Aggravated Criminal Damage and Felon in possession of a Firearm.
