New Iberia Asking For Publics Help In Shooting That Left One Dead

Friday, December 18, 2020, at approximately 12:24 hours in the afternoon, Officers with the New Iberia Police Department responded to the intersection of Verna and Emily Street in reference to a shooting.

Officers located a black male victim with a single gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Pictured below is a photograph of the suspect running from the scene. Investigators need your help identifying the suspect.
