Napoleonville Man Charged With Terrorizing

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jonathan Salazar, 46, of 1188 Highway 402, Napoleonville, LA, in connection with a Monday morning disturbance near the aforementioned address.
Deputies were dispatched to the location after a public services utility company reported a disturbance involving their employees and a local resident.
Upon investigating, deputies determined that a disagreement had occurred between the parties and at some point, Salazar released the contents of 4 propane bottles in the area the employees were working. Salazar also is accused of emptying the contents of two gasoline cans in the same area.
Deputies confirmed the odor of raw gasoline and determined that Salazar’s actions presented an undue risk of harm to the utility company employees.
Based on those and other related facts, Salazar was arrested on Tuesday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Facility on counts of:
*Disturbing the Peace
*Terrorizing
Jonathan Salazar was released after posting bond in the amount of $2500.
