Napoleonville Man Arrested After Disturbance In Labadieville

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Chad E. Aucoin, 50, of 3958 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA, following a disturbance call at a Labadieville address.
On Sunday, deputies were dispatched to a Labadieville address in connection to a disturbance.
Deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that Chad E. Aucoin had been acting strangely and had stopped taking his medication.
Deputies and family members attempted to make contact with Aucoin but he refused to exit from inside a locked bathroom door.
Deputies, at some point, were able to make entry into the room. During the process, deputies attempted to detain Aucoin and a confrontation ensued. Deputies were eventually able to take Aucoin into custody.
Chad E. Aucoin was examined by medical personnel at the scene and was then transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center where he was booked on charges of:
*Aggravated Assault with a Dangerous Weapon
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property
*Battery on a Police Officer (2 Counts)
*Resisting an Officer with Force or Violence (4 Counts)
Chad E. Aucoin was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
