UPDATE: Juvenile Makes Contact With Family, Safety Confirmed – Morgan City Police Searching for Missing Juvenile

Yackelyn has made contact with her family and Law Enforcement has confirmed her location and safety. Chief Blair appreciates the public’s assistance in assisting with locating the Juvenile

The Morgan City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Yackelyn Gomez of Morgan City. Yackelyn is considered a Missing-Endangered Juvenile by the Morgan City Police Department. She was last seen at her residence in the morning hours of Saturday, December 12, 2020, and was reported missing at approximately 7:00 pm by family.
Investigators are unsure if Gomez has left the Morgan City area. Gomez is described as a Hispanic, female 4’3” approximately 110 pounds, dark colored hair, and unknown clothing description.
Morgan City Police Department is requesting anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Yackelyn Gomez call the Morgan City Police Department or call 911.
