Morgan City Arrest Report 7-8-2020

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded 27 to calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 07/07/2020:

Meghan Cheramie, 28 years of age, Park RD, Morgan City, LA was arrested on 07/07/2020

Charges: Warrant Possession of Sch II(Methamphetamine)
Warrant Possession of Sch IV(Alprazolam)
Warrant Resisting an Officer
Warrant Child Desertion
Warrant Violation of the Uniform CDS Law(Drug-Free Zone)

Meghan Cheramie who was arrested on 07/03/2020 was booked on warrants from a July 2, 2020 complaint where she fled from officers as they were investigating a narcotics complaint.  Cheramie had given officers a false name before she fled. Cheramie was booked into the Morgan City Police Department.

Christopher Adams, 39 years of age, Roderick St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on 07/07/2020 at 7:51 pm

Charge: Warrant Burglary(St. Martin Parish)

Officers with the Morgan City Police Department located Christopher Adams and arrested him on a warrant from St. Martin Parish for Burglary.
Adams was booked into the Morgan City Police Department jail awaiting transfer to St. Martin Parish.
