Morgan City Arrest Report 7-7-2020

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded 44 to calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 07/06/2020:

Annette Aucoin, 58 years of age, Leona St . Morgan City was arrested on 07/06/2020 at 10:40 am

Charges: Warrant- Possession of Sch II(Methamphetamine)
Warrant-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Warrant-Possession of a Legend Drug
Warrant-Violation of Uniform CDS Law(Drug-Free Zone)
Warrant-Possession of Marijuana 1st

David Barnett, 49 years of age, Leona St. Morgan City, was arrested on 07/06/2020 at 10:40 am.

Charges: Warrant-Possession of Sch II(Methamphetamine)
Warrant-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Warrant-Possession of a Legend Drug
Warrant- Violation of the Uniform CDS Law(Drug-Free Zone)
Driving Under suspension

James Meredith, 78 years of age, Leona St. Morgan City, was arrested on 07/06/2020 at 10:40 am

Charges: Warrant- Possession fo Marijuana 1st

Detectives were attempting to locate the above subjects on active warrants from Morgan City Police Department.  Detectives were able to locate the subjects on Eighth St. in Morgan City.  The warrants stemmed from a June investigation at a residence.  Meredith, Aucoin, and Barnett were placed under arrest.  Barnett was additionally charged with driving under suspension.  All Three subjects were booked into the Morgan City Police Department.

Michael Pellicer, 43 years of age, Freret St. Morgan City,LA was arrested on 07/07/2020 at 4:07 am

Charges: Warrant- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Michael Pellicer was located at a residence on Second St. after officers were called to the residence for a complaint.   A warrants check showed that Pellicer had active warrants through Morgan City Police Department.
Pellicer was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department.
