Morgan City Arrest Report 7-20-2020
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 36-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 107-calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 7/17/2020.
Therold Lawrence James, 36 years of age, Address-Teche Rd., Bayou Vista, La., was arrested on 7/17/2020 at 1:42 P.M.
Charge: Criminal Damage to Property less than $1,000.00
Disturbing the Peace
Warrant: Parole Violation Violation
Officers were called to a local medical facility for an individual causing a disturbance. Upon the officer’s arrival, they came into contact with Therold L. James who was causing a disturbance. Officer also learned he had damaged property at the facility less then $1,000.00. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. A computer check revealed Louisiana Probation and Parole held an active warrant for his arrest. He was booked and incarcerated.
Jewel Ann Ross, 36 years of age, Address-North Verret St., Amelia, La., was arrested on 7/18/2020 at 12:01 P.M.
Charge: Disturbing the Peace
Officers were called to the area of Highway 182 about a female causing a disturbance. Upon the officer’s arrival, they came into contact with Jewel Ross who was in an intoxicated condition causing a disturbance. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Myles Anthony Morgan, 32 years of age, Address-Front St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 7/18/2020 at 12:44 P.M.
Charge: Simple Battery
Officers were called to an address on Front St. for a disturbance. Upon the officer’s arrival, they came into contact with Myles Morgan. Officers learned Myles A Morgan had committed a battery an individual at the address. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Jeremy J Walker, 39 years of age, Address-Federal Ave., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 7/18/2020 at 7:39 P.M.
Charge: Aggravated Battery
Officers were called to a North Third St. address for a battery. Upon the officer’s arrival, they learned Jeremy J. Walker had struck the victim with a weapon. Officers located Walker on Highway LA 70 a short time later and placed him under arrest. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
