Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 31-calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 7/15/2020.
Vincent Ardell Thomas Jr., 26 years of age, Address-Fourth St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 7/15/2020 at 8:25 A.M.
Charge Resisting an Officer
Warrant: Failure to Appear (15 counts)
Investigators with the Morgan City Narcotics Division observed Vincent A. Thomas Jr. in the area of Highway 182, and Myrtle St. Investigators attempted to stop Thomas and place him under arrest on active warrants for City Court of Morgan City. Thomas Jr fled on foot but was apprehended. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Darius Brown, 41 years of age, Address-Clements St., Patterson, La., was arrested on 7/15/2020 at 3:30 P.M.
Warrants: Failure to Appear (2 counts)
Darius Brown was located at the Patterson Police Department on active warrants held by City Cout of Morgan City. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
