Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 33-calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 6/4/2020

Anita M. Steel, 45 years of age, Address-Freret Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on 6/5/2020 at 3:10 A.M.
Charge: Domestic Abuse Battery
Officers were called to a residence on Freret St. for a domestic disturbance. Upon officer’s arrival, they learned Anita Steel had committed a battery on a family member. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
