Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 26-calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 5/20/2020

Eric Spencer Gaskins, 49 years of age, Address-Apple St., Morgan City, LA, was arrested on 5/20/2020 at 4:03 P.M.
Charge: Disturbing the Peace
Criminal Trespass
Resisting An Officer
Possession of Synthetic Marijuana (3rd Offense)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Obstruction of Justice-Tampering with Evidence
Warrants: One way Roads
Resisting an Officer
Possession of Synthetic Marijuana (2nd Offense)
Obstruction of Justice-Tampering with Evidence
Violation of CDS Laws-Drug Fee Zone
Officers were called to an address on Railroad Ave. for a disturbance. Upon officer’s arrival, they came into contact with Eric S. Gaskins. A warrant check revealed the Morgan City Police Department held active warrants for his arrest. After the officer’s investigation, Gaskins was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
