Morgan City Arrest Report 2-5-2020

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded 53 to calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 02/04/2020:
Jason Anderson, 38 years of age, Main St. Patterson, LA was arrested on 02/04/2020 at 7:33 am

Charges: Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle
Possession of Marijuana 1st Offense
Officers were called to the area of Martin Luther King Blvd and Hwy 182 due to a reported stolen vehicle.  Officer arrived in the area and found the vehicle along with Jason Anderson who was driving.  Officer spoke with Anderson and during the investigation located suspected Marijuana.  Anderson was placed under arrest.  Officers determined during the investigation that Anderson was given permission to use the vehicle but had not returned it.  Anderson transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.

Brittany Jones, 26 years of age, Lloyd Lane, Morgan City, LA was arrested on 02/04/2020 at 3:00 pm
Charges: Warrant-City Court of Morgan City for FTA to Pay Fines(Possession of Marijuana)
Warrant-City Court of Morgan City for FTA to pay Fines( Illegal use of CDS in
the Presence of a Juvenile
Warrant-City Court of Morgan City for FTA to Pay Fines(No Drivers license on persons)
Jones was transported to the Morgan City Police Department from another agency and booked into the jail on warrants from City Court.

Charlotte Celestine, 34 years of age, Hwy 90 Patterson, LA was arrested on 02/04/2020 at 5:19 pm
Charges: Warrant-16th JDC FTA for Criminal Neglect of Family
Officers came into contact with Celestine on Hwy 182 in Morgan City and learned of an outstanding warrant from the 16th JDC.  Celestine was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.
