An officer observed a traffic violation in the area of Federal Ave. and Brashear Ave. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver was identified as Glynn A Guidry Jr. During the traffic stop, the officer suspected driver impairment. A Field Sobriety Test was given, and Guidry performed poorly on the test. A computer check revealed the vehicle Guidry was driving was not insured. A warrant check revealed the City Court of Morgan City held active warrants for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the Morgan City Police Department, Guidry was given an intoxilyzer test and gave a breath sample of 0.237g%. He was booked and incarcerated at the Morgan City Police Department.
