Morgan City Arrest Report 2-10-2020

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 36-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 112 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 2/7/2020:

Kyle Quante Rhett, 28 years of age, Address-General McArthur St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/7/2020 at 1:35 P.M.
Warrants: Failure to Appear (10 Counts)
Kyle Q Rhett turned himself into the Morgan City Police Department on active warrants held by the City Court of Morgan City. He was booked and incarcerated.

Ethan M. Mensman, 22 years of age. Address-Taft St., Patterson, La., was arrested on 2/7/2020 at 3:25 P.M.
Warrants: Failure to Appear (3 Counts)
Ethan M. Mensman was located at the Patterson Police Department and placed under arrest on active warrants held by the City Court of Morgan City. He was transferred to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Lisa Taylor Hosey, 54 years of age, Address- Highway LA 70, Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/8/2020 at 1:09 P.M.

Officers responded to a called of a careless driver in the area of Brashear and Sixth St. Officers were able to locate the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Lisa Taylor Hosey. During the investigation, she was found in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A computer check revealed her driver’s license was under suspension. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Clara Michelle Drexler, 38 years of age, Address-Franklin St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/8/2020 at 3:18 P.M.
Warrants: Failure to Appear (4 Counts)
Clara Michelle Drexler was located at the Patterson Police Department and placed under arrest on active warrants held by the City Court of Morgan City. She was transferred to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Jesse Blakeman, 26 years of age, Address-Cypress St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/8/2020 at 9:07 P.M.

Warrant: Failure to Appear
An officer on patrol observed a traffic violation in the area of U.S. 90 and Highway 182. The officer conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Ashley Lanclos and the passenger as Deven W. Vining. During the traffic stop, Lanclos was found in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
Vining was found in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. A warrants check revealed the 16th District Court held an active warrant for his arrest. Ashley Lanclos and Deven Vining were both placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Nicholas Paul Kapp, 25 years of age, Address-Highway LA 70, Morgan City, La., was placed under arrest on 2/9/2020 at 1:25 A.M.

James Davonte Green, 26 years of age, Address-Railroad Ave., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/10/2020 at 2:00 A.M.

January 29, 2020, the Morgan City Police Department investigated a complaint in which James Green was identified as the person making threating phone calls to a dating partner. During the investigation, officers obtained an arrest warrant for Green. On February 10, 2020, Officers located Green in the area of First. St. and Saint Clair St. James D. Green was placed under arrest and found in possession of suspected heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, and a loaded handgun. A computer check revealed Green was a convicted felon and was a wanted fugitive from Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office and Ascension Sheriff’s Office. He was transferred to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
