Morgan City Arrest Report 1-16-2020

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded 50 to calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 01/16/2020:

Roderick Bennett, Vaugh Alley, Morgan City, LA was arrested on 01/15/2020 at 1:26 pm
Charges:  Driving under Suspension
Warrant-Theft(Under $1000)
Bennett was stopped after an officer observed him commit a traffic violation. Upon speaking with Bennett he was found to be driving under suspension, a warrants check also found that he had an outstanding warrant for theft.   The warrant stemmed from property not returned to a rental company.  Bennett was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department
