Louisiana Sheriff’s Scholarship Awarded

Louisiana Sheriff’s Scholarship Program is awarded to a student from each parish. Each recipient receives a maximum of $500. The goal of the Program is to provide assistance to a worthy Louisiana student in furthering their education.

This year recipient is Mattilyn McFarland, the daughter of Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office, Deputy on Patrol Officer Matthew McFarland. Mattilyn is a New Iberia Senior High 2020 graduate and will be attending McNeese State University this fall, majoring in Nursing.
