Local High School Coaching Legend Dies At The Age Of 86

Local High School coaching legend, Al Tregle, passed away at the age of 86 on Monday. Tregle was named Louisiana Sports Writers Association “Coach of the Year” in 1972. He was a member of the University of Southern Mississippi football team in 1954, ’55, and ’56, and inducted into their hall of fame on May 8, 1976.
