Local Departments Battled Monday Afternoon Blaze In Patterson

Flames became visible in a mobile home fire near the intersection of Guyther and Cleveland Streets in Patterson on Monday afternoon.

The fire burned for hours as fire departments from Patterson, Bayou Vista, Berwick and Morgan City battled the blaze. Acadian Ambulance and Patterson Police Department stood by at the scene.

No word on what may have started the fire and no injuries were reported as of late Monday afternoon.
