James Pollard, Sr., 77, a resident and native of Patterson, LA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 22, 2020 at 2:20 PM at Ochsner St. Mary in Morgan City, LA.

A public viewing will be conducted from 11:00 A. M. until 1:00 P. M. on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Jones Funeral Home 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, LA. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing). A private dismissal service will be held with the family’s invited guest only. Services will be accessible by viewing the Jones Funeral Home, Inc. Facebook Page at 1:00 P. M. on Saturday August 1, 2020. Mr. Pollard will be laid to rest in the New Salem Cemetery in Patterson.

Memories of James Pollard, Sr. will forever remain in the hearts of his four sons, James “Tiger” (Christa) Pollard, Jr., Darryl Harrison, Dowayne Charlote all of Patterson, LA and Kirk (Shanta) Pollard of Franklin, LA; five daughters, Mrs. Larry Joe (Amanda) Williams, Mrs. Deric (Katina) Jenkins, Mrs. Roosevelt ( Pamela) Grant, Mare Monica Pollard, and Sarah Charlote all of Patterson, LA; one sister, of Lucille Whiley of Alameda, CA; one sister-in-law,  forty-three grandchildren, fifty-three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
