According to the Terrebonne Sheriff’s Department, on Feb. 20, 2020 a domestic violence complaint was received resulting in the arrest of a 34-year-old Houma man in connection with the beating of his 62-year-old stepfather.
Detectives learned that during verbal argument between the victim and his spouse, the stepson became involved. The stepson struck the stepfather, who sustained injuries that included facial fractures and lacerations. The victim had been treated at a local hospital and was then removed to a facility elsewhere for special medical treatment related to the crime.
Information and evidence resulted in the arrest of the step-son, Adam Corey Clark.
He was booked at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex for 2nd degree battery, which is a felony. He remains incarcerated in lieu of a $30,000 bond.
