Friday is Deadline for Franklin Mardi Gras Parade Entries

The Franklin Carnival Parade Association, Inc. will be accepting applications from anyone wanting to take part in the Franklin Mardi Gras Parade, February 25, 2020 at 1p.m. The deadline to register is noon on Friday, February 21.
Decorated Floats: $50.00 (includes trucks pulling trailers, 18 wheelers with flatbeds, etc.)
Decorated Car: $35.00 (no trailer)
Decorated Truck: $35.00 (no trailer)
Decorated Golf Cart: $25.00
Walker (Group): $25.00
Walker (Single): $1.00
Bicycles: $1.00
****Horses, motorcycles and Go-Carts are NOT permitted****
The Franklin Carnival Parade Association is also having a best decorated contest for parade entries in 2 categories (school/nonschool entries)
1st Place: $75
2nd Place: $50
3rd Place: $25
Application packets may be picked up from Tammy Rogers at Franklin City Hall beginning Monday morning. (Copy of valid Driver’s License & Proof of Current Liability Insurance is Required for drivers/vehicles)
