Franklin Arrest Report 8-24-2020
The Franklin Police Department responded to 31 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Cornelieus Grimm, 25, of Seventh St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 21, 2020, at 2:46 PM, on the charges of establishing of speed zone, stop signs & yield signs – 2 counts, aggravated obstruction of highway commerce, obstruction of justice – 2 counts, possession of schedule I narcotics, and possession of schedule IV narcotics – 2 counts. Grimm was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Kimiya Joseph, 26, of Morris St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 22, 2020, at 2:10 AM, on a warrant dated August 18, 2020, for disturbing the peace by fighting. Joseph was booked, processed, and released on a $1,000.00 bond.
Tashalyn Foster, 21, of St. Joseph Ln., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 22, 2020, at 2:10 AM, on the charges of disturbing the peace by fighting – 3 counts, simple battery – 3 counts, and aggravated second degree battery. Foster was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Vernija Loston, 21, of Talbot St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 22, 2020, at 2:10 AM, on the charges of principle to second degree battery, simple battery – 3 counts, and disturbing the peace by fighting – 3 counts. Loston was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Ebonie Brown, 31, of A St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 23, 2020, at 7:35 PM, on a warrant dated August 23, 2020, for disturbing the peace by fighting – 3 counts, principle to aggravated second degree battery, and aggravated assault with a vehicle. Brown was booked, processed, and released on a $5,000.00 bond.
Ingrid Jack, 30, of Highway 83, Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 23, 2020, at 7:35 PM, on a warrant dated August 23, 2020, for disturbing the peace by fighting – 3 counts and principle to aggravated second degree battery. Jack was booked, processed, and released on a $4,000.00 bond.
