Franklin Arrest Report 8-19-2020

The Franklin Police Department responded to 6 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:

Darien Mitchell, 23, of Adrian St., New Iberia, LA, was arrested on August 18, 2020, at 10:18 PM, on the charges of possession of drug paraphernalia – 2 counts, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana), possession of schedule I narcotics with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a firearm – 6 counts, and possession of a stolen firearm. Mitchell was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.

Dereke Guilbeau, Jr., 23, of Hamm St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 18, 2020, at 10:18 PM, on the charges of possession of drug paraphernalia – 2 counts, possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana), contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile – 2 counts, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a firearm – 6 counts. Guilbeau was booked, processed, and released on a $7,500.00 bond.

Davien Burrell, 19, of Admiral Doyle Dr., Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on August 18, 2020, at 10:18 PM, on the charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a firearm – 6 counts, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile – 2 counts, possession of drug paraphernalia – 2 counts, possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana), and possession of a stolen firearm. Burrell was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.

Devin Allen, 19, of Admiral Doyle Dr., Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on August 18, 2020, at 10:18 PM, on the charges of possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana), possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a firearm – 6 counts, possession of a stolen firearm, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile – 2 counts, and possession of drug paraphernalia – 2 counts. Allen was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
