The Franklin Police Department responded to 7 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:

Jerome Darby, 57, of Fifth St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 13, 2020, at 12:03 PM, on a warrant dated May 31, 2020, for theft under $1,000.00 – 2nd offense. Darby was additionally arrested on the charges of resisting an officer, possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana) – 4th offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia – 4th offense. Darby was booked, processed, and held on a $2,500.00 bond.
