Franklin Arrest Report 8-10-2020
The Franklin Police Department responded to 27 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Girard Navy, Jr., 28, of Seventh St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 7, 2020, at 1:08 PM, on warrants dated June 18, 2020, for domestic abuse battery – 2nd offense, domestic abuse battery with child endangerment – 2 counts, and violation of protective order. Navy was booked, processed, and held on a $40,000.00 bond.
Joseph Darby, 19, of St. Lucien St., Patterson, LA, was arrested on August 8, 2020, at 6:46 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of driver must be licensed and vehicle license required. Darby was booked, processed, and released on a $250.00 bond.
Eric Benjamin, 62, of Willow St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 9, 2020, at 4:25 PM, on the charge of criminal damage to property. Benjamin was booked, processed, and held on a $1,000.00 bond.
