Franklin Arrest Report 6-1-2020

The Franklin Police Department responded to 43 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
John Boyd, 21, of Alexander Ln., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 29, 2020, at 5:03 PM, on the charges of possession of drug paraphernalia – 1st offense, driving under suspension, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana) – 1st offense. Boyd was additionally arrested on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of disturbing the peace and simple assault. Boyd was booked, processed, and released on a $5,068.00 bond.
Brody Guillory, 33, of Carrier St., Opelousas, LA, was arrested on May 30, 2020, at 5:19 PM, on the charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, aggravated assault with a firearm, and disturbing the peace. Guillory was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Terrance Ballet, 45, of Bud St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on the charge of simple battery. Ballet was booked, processed, and released on a $2,500.00 bond.
Barry Burney, 58, of Barrone St., Baldwin, LA, was arrested on May 31, 2020, at 9:53 PM, on a warrant dated May 29, 2020, for violation of a protective order and simple assault, and a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. Burney was additionally arrested on the charge of violation of protective order. Burney was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
