Franklin Arrest Report 5-4-2020
The Franklin Police Department responded to 29 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Tracey Mitchell, 27, of Isaac St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 2, 2020, at 10:44 AM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of theft. Mitchell was booked, processed, and released on a $400.00 bond.
Demondre Watson, 23, of Oak St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 2, 2020, at 12:19 PM, on the charges of no seat belt, operating a vehicle while license is suspended, possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of a stolen firearm, and illegal carrying of a weapon. Watson was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Jennifer Melanson, 21, of Bigler St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 3, 2020, at 10:53 AM, on the charge of possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana). Melanson was booked, processed, and held on a $2,000.00 bond.
Glen LaPoint, 22, of Bigler St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 3, 2020, at 12:49 PM, on the charges of possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana) and illegal carrying of a weapon. LaPoint was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Tarik Rouchon, 20, of Highway 83, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 3, 2020, at 5:38 PM, on the charges of no seat belt, possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana) with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal carrying of a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Rouchon was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Vanshonne Brown, 45, of Seventh St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 3, 2020, at 10:44 PM, on the charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle while license is suspended, careless operation, and possession of an alcoholic beverage in motor vehicle. Brown was additionally arrested on two (2) warrants for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Brown was booked, processed, and held on a $36,742.08 bond.
