Franklin Arrest Report 5-21-2020

The Franklin Police Department responded to 22 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
Shane Dugas, 32, of Iberia St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 20, 2020, at 9:13 AM, on the charges of possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana) with intent to distribute, possession of schedule I narcotics (heroin), possession of schedule II narcotics (cocaine), possession of a legend drug without a prescription (cyclobenzapine hydrochloride), possession of drug paraphernalia – 1st offense, violation of controlled dangerous substance law drug free zone, proceeds derived from drug transactions, criminal conspiracy, and keeping a disorderly place. Dugas was booked, processed, and held on a $50,000.00 bond.
Michelle Dugas, 46, of Iberia St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 20, 2020, at 9:13 AM, on the charges of possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana) with intent to distribute, possession of schedule I narcotics (heroin), possession of schedule II narcotics (cocaine), possession of a legend drug without a prescription (cyclobenzapine hydrochloride), proceeds derived from drug transactions, violation of controlled dangerous substance law drug free zone, possession of drug paraphernalia – 1st offense, criminal conspiracy, and keeping a disorderly place. Dugas was booked, processed, and held on a $15,000.00 bond.
Peggy Dugas, 62, of Iberia St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 20, 2020, at 9:13 AM, on the charges of possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana) with intent to distribute, possession of schedule I narcotics (heroin), possession of schedule II narcotics (cocaine), possession of a legend drug without a prescription (cyclobenzapine hydrochloride), violation of controlled dangerous substance law drug free zone, possession of drug paraphernalia – 1st offense, criminal conspiracy, keeping a disorderly place, and proceeds derived from drug transactions. Dugas was booked, processed, and released on a $15,000.00 bond.
Traci Burke, 33, of Lee Charles St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 20, 2020, at 6:07 PM, on a warrant dated May 15, 2020, for violation of protective order. Burke was booked, processed, and released on a $2,500.00 bond.
Kaveshia Johnson, 23, of Barrow St., Morgan City, LA, was arrested on May 20, 2020, at 8:49 PM, on the charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. Johnson was released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
