Franklin Arrest Report 4-20-2020

The Franklin Police Department responded to 29 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Herbert Smith, 58, of Pershing St., Baldwin, LA, was arrested on April 17, 2020, at 1:35 PM, on the charge of theft – 3rd offense. Smith was booked, processed, and released on a $500.00 bond.
Tyrone Freeman, 51, of Highway 87, Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 17, 2020, at 7:23 PM, on a warrant dated December 13, 2019, for theft by shoplifting, a warrant dated March 25, 2020, for theft, and a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of theft and theft of goods. Freeman was additionally arrested on the charges of resisting an officer and illegal possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana) – 2nd offense. Freeman was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
David Parker, 31, of Hospital Ave., Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 19, 2020, at 9:42 AM, on the charge of domestic abuse battery – 2nd offense. Parker was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Mandie Haire, 38, of Tenth St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 19, 2020, at 10:13 AM, on the charge of possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana) – 2nd offense. Haire was booked, processed, and released on a $2,500.00 bond.
Cheddrick Roberson, 40, of Bigler St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 19, 2020, at 9:06 PM, on the charges of simple battery, resisting an officer, and possession of schedule II narcotics with intent to distribute. Roberson was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
