Franklin Arrest Report 3-23-2020

The Franklin Police Department responded to 46 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Kody Champagne, 38, of Irish Bend Rd., Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 20, 2020, at 10:24 AM, on a warrant dated March 11, 2020, for violation of protective order. Champagne was booked, processed, and released on a $1,500.00 bond.
Brian James, 41, of Gum St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 21, 2020, at 4:08 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of simple battery and simple criminal damage to property. James was additionally arrested on two warrants for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while license is suspended, operating a vehicle with unlit license plate, and possession of marijuana. James was booked, processed, and released to appear in court.
