Franklin Arrest Report 11-5-2020
The Franklin Police Department responded to 14 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
Eulalia McCoy, 25, of Firmin St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 4, 2020, at 7:17 AM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of driving under suspension, a warrant for Jeanerette City Court for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and driving under suspension, and a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and driving under suspension. McCoy was booked, processed, and transported to the Jeanerette Police Department.
Tyrus Polidore, 30, of Roy Ln., Centerville, LA, was arrested on November 4, 2020, at 9:02 AM, on warrants for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to obtain special sex offender identification card and failure to register as a sex offender. Polidore was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Eric Benjamin, 62, of Willow St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 4, 2020, at 9:15 AM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of criminal damage to property. Benjamin was booked, processed, and held on a $200.00 bond.
Jerome Darby, 57, of Fifth St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 4, 2020, at 10:14 AM, on a warrant for Third Ward City for failure to appear on the charge of theft, a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting an officer. Darby was additionally arrested on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia – 5th offense. Darby was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Nicholas Turner, 27, of Easy St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 4, 2020, at 10:53 AM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of driving under suspension, two headlights required, and expired motor vehicle inspection. Turner was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
JaQuan Verrett, 22, of Sixth St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 4, 2020, at 3:43 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of vehicle turning left at intersection with accident. Verrett was booked, processed, and released on a $300.00 bond.
Tae’Jhan Wilson, 22, of SJ Ln., Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 4, 2020, at 8:28 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of driver must be licensed. Wilson was booked, processed, and released on a $250.00 bond.
