The Franklin Police Department responded to 21 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Ray Granger, 33, of Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 13, 2020, at 8:46 PM, on the charges of illegal carrying and discharge of a firearm, possession of a firearm by person convicted of certain felonies, and 2 counts – aggravated assault with a firearm – 2nd offense. Granger was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Tris Madison, 27, of Highway 318, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on November 14, 2020, at 4:31 PM, on a warrant dated November 10, 2020, for domestic abuse battery. Madison was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Jardyn McCoy, 19, of Iberia St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 14, 2020, at 11:23 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of improper acceleration and driver must be licensed. McCoy was booked, processed, and released on a $300.00 bond.
