Franklin Arrest Report 10-26-2020

The Franklin Police Department responded to 41 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Rodney Manuel, 53, of Clark St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 23, 2020, at 8:24 AM, on warrants dated October 22, 2020, for theft of goods under $500.00 and simple criminal damage to property. Manuel was booked, processed, and held on a $2,500.00 bond.
Ronnie Boatman, Jr., 42, of Pine St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 23, 2020, at 7:23 PM, on the charges of criminal trespassing and possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana). Boatman was additionally arrested on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Boatman was booked, processed, and released to appear in court.
Gerald Dupas, 34, of Iberia St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 23, 2020, at 7:56 PM, on the charges of criminal trespassing and possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana) – 2nd offense. Dupas was booked, processed, and held on a $1,000.00 bond.
Tyric Trufant, 51, of Anderson St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 25, 2020, at 2:25 AM, on the charges of attempted second degree murder – 4 counts and illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities. Trufant was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Joaquin Alexis, 36, of Anderson St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 25, 2020, at 5:24 AM, on the charges of attempted second degree murder – 4 counts and illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities. Alexis was booked, processed, and released on a $100,000.00 bond.
