Four Year Old Juvenile Struck and Killed By A Vehicle in New Iberia

On December 25, 2020 at approximately 3:30 in the afternoon, Officers with the New Iberia Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Julia Street in reference to a juvenile being struck by a vehicle.

A four year old toddler was transported to a local hospital by ambulance. The toddler later succumbed to her injuries.

No other details are available at this time and the investigation is continuing.
