Fireworks, Berwick’s Rockin’ the Riverfront Planned for Fourth of July, Morgan City’s Party in the Park Canceled

The annual Fireworks over the Atchafalaya to celebrate Independence Day will be held on Saturday, July 4. The fireworks extravaganza is sponsored by the Town of Berwick and the City of Morgan City.

While Morgan City’s annual Party in the Park has been canceled due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Berwick officials told KQKI News on Thursday that they will proceed with Rockin’ on the Riverfront. The annual patriotic celebration will be held from 5 pm – 9 pm and will feature live music, food and beverages. Rockin’ on the Riverfront will culminate with the fireworks over the Atchafalaya River at 9 pm.

More details on Rockin’ on the Riverfront will be forthcoming and will be released as they become available.

Berwick’s annual Lighthouse Festival will also be held November 13 – 15 along the riverfront.
