Fire Results in Heavy Damage to Franklin Mobile Home

A mobile home in Franklin sustained heavy damage as a result of a Monday afternoon fire.  The Franklin Fire Department was dispatched at approximately 2:30 p.m. to the structure fire in the 400 block of Liner Street.  After arriving on scene, firefighters requested mutual aid from Baldwin and Chitimacha Fire Departments. Franklin Police Department, Acadian Ambulance and CLECO also assisted at the scene. No injuries were reported.
