PINEVILLE, La. – May 25, 2022 – Cleco Power donated $500,000 to the Community Foundation of Acadiana to support and fund projects across their seven-parish service region. This fund will enhance Cleco’s support of nonprofits that align with the company’s community impact areas of STEM education, youth programs, health and wellness, low-income initiatives and diversity.

With 16 offices, over 180 employees and nearly 100,000 customers in Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, St. Landry, St. Mary, St. Martin and Vermilion parishes, Cleco is an integral part of the Acadiana community and has the honor of sitting on the Evangeline Foundation Advisory Board. The board meets to determine grant recipients and allocations for Evangeline Parish. Cleco’s vice president and chief customer officer, Andre Guillory, was selected to serve in this distinguished position.
