Civil, Criminal, Traffic and Juvenile Cases Continued through June 26 by City Court of Morgan City

Due to CDC Guidelines – The City Court of Morgan City has announced that all Civil, Criminal, Traffic and Juvenile cases have been continued effective immediately through Friday, June 26, 2020. If you have an arraignment, trial, due date or review on June 16, June 18, June 23 or June 25, these court appearances will be continued. Those trials, hearings, arraignments and due date court appearances are continued with the exception of 72 hour hearings, arraignments for incarcerated persons and bond hearings. We will start court again on Tuesday, June 30, 2020. Please call the Clerk’s Office to get your new court date or a notice will be mailed to your last address on your booking sheet or traffic ticket. It is your responsibility to contact the Clerk’s Office with a current address.

Traffic tickets requiring mandatory appearance are waived. All traffic tickets and fines and costs due during this time period can be paid at the Clerk’s Office. or on our online service (www.morgancitytix.com), or mailed to our post office box. Probation fees due can be paid by money order at the Clerks Office or mailed to our mailing address.
