City of Franklin Receives New Generator

On Monday, the City of Franklin received a new 400KW Generator that was ordered after Hurricane Laura. The City said the generator is currently being installed. Franklin’s 20+ year old 300KW generator began having issues and had to be replaced. The City said the new piece of equipment is vital to maintaining water flow throughout the city during power outages. The City also said they are doing everything possible to continue to improve the City’s infrastructure by seeking all funding sources available from State and Federal sources.
