Chitimacha Police Serves Warrant, 22 Year Old Jeanerette Man Arrested on Drug Charges

On Monday, February 3, 2020, officers with the Chitimacha Tribal Police Department served two arrest warrants on 22 year old Tony Caro. The first of the two warrants was for Distribution of Heroin to a Juvenile and the second warrant was for Distribution of Fentanyl to a Juvenile. Caro is currently incarcerated at the Iberia Parish Correctional Facility on unrelated charges.
This arrest was the result of an ongoing distribution of Heroin and Fentanyl investigation by the Chitimacha Tribal Police.
Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson says this on-going investigation will have additional arrests in the near future.
