Chitimacha Arrest Report 6-1-2020

Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reports the following arrests:
On 5-29-20, Brittely Baptist, 27, Silver Street, New Iberia, was arrested for simple battery and criminal damage to property. She was transported to the parish jail . On 5-26-20, officers responded to a Tribal business in reference to a possible battery. During the investigation, it was learned Baptiste was involved and had already left the premises. A warrant was issued for Baptiste. Baptiste was arrested by New Iberia Police Department on the warrant and was released to the Chitimacha Police Department without incident.
On 5-31-20, Troy Estelle, 50, Carla Court, New Iberia, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and released on a summons. An officer observed a suspicious person and made contact with the Estelle. During the investigation, it was learned Estelle had drug paraphernalia and was arrested.
