Chitimacha Arrest Report 3-9-2020

Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reports the following arrests:
On 3-6-20, Emmie Porrier, 31, Cherokee Street, Charenton, was arrested for criminal mischief (filing a false police report) and released on a summons. On 2-20-20, a complaint was received by Porrier. During the investigation, it was learned the complaint was false and a warrant was issued for Porrier. Porrier turned herself in to the Chitimacha Police Department and she was arrested.
On 3-8-20, Jeffery David, 43, Orangewood Drive, Abbeville, was arrested for a St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office warrant for failure to appear for theft under $1000. He was transported to the parish jail. During an investigation, David was located at a Tribal business and was arrested.
