Chitimacha Arrest Report 1-17-2020
Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reports the following arrests:
On 1-15-20, Tina Berrios, 44, Walton Street, New Iberia, was arrested for theft, monetary instrument abuse, and forgery. She was transported to the parish jail. On 6-7-19, officers responded to a Tribal residence in reference to a theft. During the investigation, it was learned Berrios was involved and a warrant was issued. On 1-15-19, Berrios was arrested by Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office on the Chitimacha Police Department warrant and was turned over without incident.
On 1-16-20, Stacey Ratkowski, 40, Quicksilver Drive, Auburn, New York, was arrested for theft, possession with intent to distribute schedule II (Methamphetamine), possession with intent to distribute schedule II (Cocaine), and 3 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the parish jail. On 1-15-20, officers responded to a Tribal business in reference to a theft. During the investigation, it was learned Ratkowski was involved but had already left the premises. Ratkowski was located on the Reservation and was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics and was arrested.
