Berwick Arrest Report 6-19-2020

Berwick Police Chief David Leonard reports the following arrests:

Anita M. Steel, 45y/o, of Freret St. Morgan City, was arrested on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at 8:40AM, on the following charges:

• Disturbing the Peace
• Criminal Trespassing

On Thursday, June 18, 2020, at 8:21AM, officers responded to a residence on Parro Ln. in reference to a disturbance in progress. Through investigation, officers learned that Anita Steel traveled to the residence and caused a disturbance with the homeowner. According to the homeowner, Steel did not have permission to be on her property. At that point, Steel was placed under arrest and booked into the Berwick Jail. She was later released on a $477.00 surety bond.
