Berwick Arrest Report 6-1-2020

Berwick Police Chief David Leonard reports the following arrests:
Larry L. Baker, 57y/o, of Portaer Court Bayou Lourse, was arrested on Friday, May 29, 2020, at 2:00PM, on the following charges:

  • Possession of Schedule III CDS Subutex
  • Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Facility
  • Driving Under Suspension

On Friday, May 29, 2020, at 1:12PM, the Berwick Police Department received a call regarding a suspicious vehicle on River Rd. Officers located the vehicle and made contact with the driver, identified as Larry Baker. Baker’s driver’s license was found to be suspended and he was placed under arrest. Upon arrival at the Berwick Jail, Baker was found to be concealing a Subutex pill on his person. He was additionally charged and booked into the Berwick Jail with no bond set.
Ryan J. Delahoussaye, 26y/o, of Legnon Court Bayou Lourse, was arrested on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at 5:38PM, on the following charge:

  • Berwick PD Warrant Violation of Protective Orders

On Friday, May 29, 2020, the Berwick Police Department began investigating a complaint in which Delahoussaye had violated a protective order that was filed against him. At the conclusion of the investigation, an arrest warrant was prepared. Officers made contact with Delahoussaye by phone and on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at 5:38PM, he turned himself in on the warrant. He was booked into the Berwick Jail on the warrant and was released after posting at $2,500.00 bond.
Kristin M. Aucoin, 26y/o, of River Rd. Berwick, was arrested on Sunday, May 31, 2020, at 12:20AM, on the following charges:

  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug Free Zone)

On Sunday, May 31, 2020, at 12:00AM, officers were patrolling the Fourth St. area when they smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from a porch at a residence where two individuals were sitting. Officers made contact with the individuals and in the process, located marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Aucoin admitted that the marijuana and paraphernalia belonged to her. The incident took place in the Berwick Housing Authority, which is posted as a Drug Free Zone. Aucoin was placed under arrest and booked into the Berwick Jail with no bond set.
