Berwick Arrest Report 5-1-2020
Berwick Police Chief David Leonard reports the following arrests:
Lennis Ross Paray W/M 35 yoa. of Fourth St. Berwick was arrested on Wednesday April 29, 2020 at 4:11 P.M. for:
- POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
- UNAUTHORIZED ENTRY OF AN INHABITED DWELLING (Berwick Warrant)
On Wednesday April 29, 2020 at approx.. 3:45 Berwick Officers received a call from a residence on Fourth St. in reference to having problems with a family member using drugs. It was further learned that family members became suspicious of drug activity at the residence and later located a syringe in the area they observed the suspicious activity in. Upon officers arrival, they made contact with Lennis Ross Paray who appeared to be impaired on some type of narcotics. In conclusion of the investigation, officers placed Paray under arrest for the charges. He was later transported to Berwick jail where he was booked on the charge. After being incarcerated, a warrant was issued for his arrest for an unrelated investigation therefore he was booked on the warrant for Unauthorized Entry Of An Inhabited Dwelling. The warrant stemmed from an incident in which a complaint was received on April 24, 2020 where Paray was accused of entering a residence on Wilson St. without permission and later fleeing the area. Paray was booked on the warrant and remains incarcerated at the Berwick jail on a $20,500 bond.
Samantha Williams W/F 31 yoa of California St. Berwick was arrested on Thursday April 30, 2020 at 10:59 A.M. for
- CRIMINAL TRESPASS
- DISTURBING THE PEACE INTOXICATED
On Thursday April 30, 2020 at approx.. 10:50 am Berwick officers responded to a complaint on Second St. in reference to a female trespassing on their property and beating on her door. The caller stated that it was same female that she had called the police on being on property the night before. Having knowledge of the complaint from the night before, officers were able to identify the female as Samantha Williams. Officers went to a residence on California St. and located WIliams and placed her under arrest. She was later transported to Berwick jail where she was booked on the charges. She was later released on bond.
