Berwick Arrest Report 4-22-2020
Berwick Police Cheif David Leonard reports the following arrests:
Andrew Hebert B/M 28 yoa. of Berwick was arrested on Monday April 21, 2020 at 11:07 am for
- CRIMINAL TRESPASS
On Monday April 21, 2020 at approx. 10:32 Berwick Officers responded to a complaint at a local business in reference to a male subject being on the property after being warned to stay away after he was arrested just a day before. It was learned at this point that Andrew Hebert had returned to the property and left the area walking ono Hwy 182. Officers located Hebert and placed him under arrest. He was transported to Berwick Jail and booked on the said charge and remains incarcerated on a $301.00 cash bond.
Rena Wilson W/F 41 yoa. of Nini Road Morgan City was arrested on Tuesday April 22, 2020 at 7:45 pm for
- THEFT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE (FELONY) (Warrant)
On Tuesday April 22, 2020 at approx. 7:45 pm Berwick officers learned that Rena Wilson was incarcerated on unrelated charges at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Wilson currently has an active warrant through Berwick P.D. for Theft Of A Motor Vehicle therefore she was transported back to Berwick Jail where she was booked on the warrant. The warrant stemmed from an incident in which a vehicle was reported stolen out of Berwick from a local business. On Tuesday morning April 21 Berwick Officers were made aware that Wilson had been apprehended by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office after a Deputy spotted the stolen vehicle on Victoria Riverside Dr. in Patterson. Wilson was identified as the driver of that vehicle and she was later questioned by Berwick P.D. Detectives on scene. Wilson admitted to involvement in the Theft of the vehicle in Berwick. Therefore a warrant was prepared.
