Christopher Patterson W/M 21 Keith St. Morgan City was arrested on April 15,2021 at 4:06PM for
- WARRANT- DISTURBING THE PEACE
On April 15,2021 at approximately 4:06PM Patterson turned himself into the Berwick Police Department for an active warrant for Disturbing the Peace. The warrant stems from a complaint in February where Patterson was yelling and causing a disturbance in a residential neighborhood but left prior to officers arrival. Patterson posted a $201.00 cash bond
Benjamin Cheramie W/M 50 Second St. Berwick was arrested on April 16,2021 at 01:36AM for
- TWO ST. MARY PARISH WARRANTS FOR FAILURE TO APPEAR FOR CHILD SUPPORT
On April 16,2021 at approximately 01:30 AM officers observed Cheramie at a local business. A warrants check showed that Cheramie had active child support warrants through the St. Mary Parish Sheriffs Office as well as active warrants through Probation & Parole and Assumption Parish Sheriffs Office. Officers along with the assistance of the St. Mary Parish Sheriffs Office made contact with Cheramie and advised him of the outstanding warrants. Cheramie was placed under arrest and transported to the Berwick Police Department where he was booked on the active warrants. A hold was placed on Cheramie for the probation/parole and Assumption Parish warrants.
