Berwick Arrest Report 2-21-2020
Berwick Police Chief David Leonard reports the following arrests:
Wade Boudreaux W/M 63 yoa. of Red Cypress Rd Patterson was arrested on Thursday February 20, 2020 at 8:05 pm for
- OPERATING A VEHICLE WHILE INTOXICATED
- CARELESS OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
- STOP SIGN VIOLATION WITH A CRASH
On Thursday February 20, 2020 at approx. 7:22 pm Berwick Officers responded to a call of a two vehicle crash in the area of La. Hwy 182 near California St. Upon officers arrival, they learned that Boudreaux had failed to stop for a Stop Sign and struck another vehicle. While speaking to Boudreaux, officers detected an odor of alcohol and conducted Field Sobriety test which according to officers, Boudreaux performed poorly on. While on scene, officers were also flagged down by passing motorist and informed that prior to the crash, Boudreaux’s vehicle was observed driving careless and almost struck other vehicle’s. Boudreaux was placed under arrest and transported to Berwick P.D. where he later submitted to the states breath test with the results of .135G% BAC. He was later booked into the Berwick Jail and was released after posting a $3,000.00 bond.
